The MTS "Urent" app now offers the option to rent shared electric snow scooters, according to the service's press service. Currently, they are available to users in Tyumen, Omsk, and Kirov.
The press service clarified that the electric snow scooters and their rental service are owned by the Russian company "Kashalot Sharing" and integrated into the MTS "Urent" platform.
Unlike electric scooters, snow scooters can only be used in specially designated areas, such as parks or squares; if you leave the area, the device will automatically stop. The maximum speed of the electric snow scooter is 10 km/h, and the maximum load is up to 120 kg.
It is planned that by the winter holidays, electric snow scooter rentals will be available in several dozen cities in the Urals, Siberia, and the Moscow region.
