After the An-24 crash in Tynda, Rostransnadzor proposed strengthening control in aviation

The agency sent proposals to the Ministry of Transport to prevent such tragedies

After the crash of the An-24 passenger plane near Tynda, Rostransnadzor sent proposals to the Ministry of Transport to improve the control system in the aviation industry, the head of the agency Viktor Gulin said in an interview with TASS. He noted that the agency is constantly working to improve safety in aviation and will make every effort to prevent such tragedies in the future.

Angara Airlines fleet

Gulin said that following the inspection of Angara Airlines, systemic violations were recorded: the company operated most of its aircraft fleet with serious deviations from safety standards, carried out fictitious maintenance and did not provide proper training for crews. As a result of the inspection, Rosaviatsiya revoked the company's key certificates.

The disaster occurred on July 24, 2025: an An-24 passenger plane of Angara Airlines crashed after landing at Tynda Airport in the Amur Region. There were 48 people on board, including six crew members, all of whom died. The wreckage of the plane was found on a mountainside 16 km from Tynda.
