At the Trom all-terrain vehicle production facility in Surgut, the Trom 20 Timber Truck is being prepared for launch. This all-terrain vehicle will be able to operate in conditions inaccessible to conventional equipment.
The harvesting process begins with the operation of a harvester, which saws and processes the tree. Then, the "Trom 20" picks up the cargo from the warehouse and delivers it to the highway, where ordinary timber trucks can pick it up.
Previously, this task was performed by "Urals", but the new all-terrain vehicle surpasses them in load capacity and cross-country ability. Thanks to its giant wheels and low ground pressure, the "Trom 20" is capable of passing where other machines can "drown."
Earlier www1.ru reported that the payload capacity of Burlak all-terrain vehicles increased by 60% — up to 2.5 tons.
