The large anti-submarine warfare (ASW) ship (BPC) of the Northern Fleet "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" of Project 1155 has completed its long voyage tasks and returned to Severomorsk. The warship has covered about 30,000 nautical miles.
During the long voyage, the ship's crew participated in various exercises of the Navy, including "July Storm" and "Zapad-2025."
The fleet's press service noted that the sailors from Severomorsk practiced dozens of combat exercises in anti-submarine and anti-aircraft defense. The voyage lasted 220 days.
The ship's armament includes eight vertical launchers for "Kinzhal" missiles, two 100-mm artillery mounts, two 12-barrel RBU-6000 rocket launchers, and two 533-mm four-tube torpedo launchers.
In June, "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" caused quite a stir in the Western media, when it passed near Greenland.
