At "Kalugaputmash" (JSC "Kaluga Plant of Track Machines and Hydraulic Drives", part of the holding "Sinara - Transport Machines"), the hydraulic transmission production site has been modernized. This was reported by the holding's press service.
Part of the production area is used for assembling units of the self-propelled snow removal train PSS-2P. Now the company will set up the production of hydraulic transmissions for new types of equipment.
Result of the production line update:
- reduction of order fulfillment time to 10 working days
- establishment of a production cycle of 5 days
"Kalugaputmash" is the only enterprise in the country that produces hydraulic transmissions for track machines and industrial shunting locomotives. Since 2014, the plant has been part of "Sinara - Transport Machines". "Kalugaputmash" track equipment will be used on high-speed railways (HSR).
