"TMH-ElectroTech" Launches New Line for Assembling Asynchronous Traction Motors

Специализированный участок нацелен на выпуск двигателей ДТА-380У1 и ДТА-170 с повышенной точностью

A new section for assembling asynchronous traction electric motors has been put into operation in the electric machine assembly shop No. 1 of "TMH-ElectroTech" (part of the "TMH-Energy Solutions" ecosystem). The modernization became possible thanks to the implementation of two strategic projects supported by preferential financing from the Industrial Development Fund, aimed at developing domestic production of electric machines for locomotives, subways and electric trains.

The new line is equipped with advanced equipment: the site is equipped with two motor tilters and a 5-ton overhead crane, which made it possible to automate and optimize key assembly stages. Now, DTA-380U1 motors for "Ivolga 4.0" electric trains (produced by the Tver Carriage Works) and DTA-170 motors for subway cars manufactured at "Metrovagonmash" are assembled in a dedicated area. Previously, these models were produced in a common stream, which limited flexibility and quality control.

The creation of a specialized section not only increased productivity, but also allowed personnel to focus on the nuances of installing specific types of engines, introduce operational control and reduce the assembly cycle.

Modernization at "TMH-ElectroTech" continues: in the near future, it is planned to launch another line - for the assembly of collector traction electric motors, as well as the commissioning of a new high-precision machine park.
