A complete set of equipment for restoring the service cabin at the 31st launch site has been delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was reported in the press service of Roscosmos State Corporation.
18 heavy vehicles with elements of the new cabin have arrived at the site.
After priming and painting the parts, specialists will begin installing the cabin and conducting autonomous tests.
Dmitry Baranov, Deputy General Director of Roscosmos for Rocket Projects, said that the restoration work schedule has been approved and is under strict control. The launch complex is planned to be prepared for the first launch by the end of winter 2026.
The manned program continues.
The elements of the launch site were damaged after the launch of the "Soyuz-2.1a" on November 27. The defects did not threaten the operation of the complex and were subject to restoration. The rocket successfully delivered the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft to the ISS.
