Nakhodka Shipyard Launches Crabber "Bukhta Olga" with Live Crab Storage System

New vessel of the CCa5712LS project doubles the payload and increases catch preservation up to 98%

Nakhodka Shipyard has completed the launch of the new crab catching vessel "Bukhta Olga", built according to the CCa5712LS project (Crabcatcher 5712 Live Storage). The displacement vessel is intended for the "Antey" group of companies and will become part of the updated fleet for fishing and transporting live crab.

The CCa5712LS project was developed taking into account modern requirements for the fishing fleet: it has an Ice2 ice class, improved seaworthiness and increased productivity compared to outdated analogues. Special attention is paid to the safety of the crew, the comfort of working conditions and environmental sustainability - the vessel meets current international standards.

The key technological feature is the live crab storage system, which provides stable environmental parameters: temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen levels in each tank. Thanks to this, the safety of the catch reaches at least 98%. The hold of the new crabber is twice as spacious as the holds of the previous generation of vessels.

In addition, "Bukhta Olga" is equipped with modern automation and digital monitoring systems for all production processes, which increases operational efficiency and reduces the human factor.
