In 2025, the density of robotization in Russia will reach 40 robots per 10 thousand employees — 36% more than a year earlier. This pace is significantly higher than the average annual global growth and is typical only for economies actively catching up with technological leaders.
For example, in 2024, the figure increased by 53% — to 29 machines per 10 thousand employees.
According to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, by 2030 the country should be among the top 25 countries in terms of robotization density. However, analysts at Kept believe that this will not be possible, although the increase will be 134 robots per 10 thousand employees.
In this scenario, the average annual growth rate will be higher than the global one and will be 29%, which is typical for catching-up countries.
According to the optimistic scenario, the volume of the robot fleet by 2030, taking into account the positive forecast, will reach 131.8 thousand units of industrial machines.
