The "Kalashnikov" concern has completed the supply of tactical mounts for automatic small arms to a large company in the Russian fuel and energy complex. The equipment is designed to protect sensitive facilities from threats, including small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ground targets.
The tactical mount is a folding telescopic tripod with adjustable height and a movable upper machine.
Depending on the modification, the design allows the installation of one or two machine guns - PKM, PKT, DPM - or AK series assault rifles. The weight of the product varies from 15 to 38 kg. The mount is equipped with an open mechanical sight and is compatible with modern optoelectronic guidance systems and additional tactical equipment.
The effectiveness of the complex has been confirmed during combat tests: the system has demonstrated the ability to engage UAVs at a distance of up to 300 meters and enemy personnel up to 1000 meters.
The initial request for development came from law enforcement agencies, and the design and production were carried out by specialists from the Kalashnikov Design and Technology Center.
