Platov Airport in Rostov has completed preparations for resuming operations. Rosaviatsiya reported that all airports, closed in 2022, including Platov, now fully meet the necessary standards for launching regular flights.
The head of the agency, Dmitry Yadrov, emphasized that the air harbor's infrastructure meets the necessary requirements. The decision to resume flights remains with the Ministry of Defense. Rosaviatsiya is in constant contact with them. A full-fledged start of the air harbor's operation will begin only after receiving approval from the military.
While waiting for this decision, Platov is actively looking for employees. Job postings can be found online for vacancies at the airport and with the airline "Azimuth": the main carrier. The organization is looking for employees of various qualifications — from salespeople to aircraft mechanics. The indicated salaries range from 43.8 thousand rubles to 160 thousand rubles.
Currently, the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don and Simferopol remain closed. At the same time, flights to Elista, Gelendzhik and Krasnodar have already been restored.
