The Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol (part of the Almaz Antey Concern) has reduced the production cycle to 30 days, according to Mikhail Potkin, the company's chief designer for civilian products.
According to him, the systems created at Kupol are in demand both in Russia and abroad.
The market dictates that we work quickly. The life cycle of equipment manufacturing from task to product release from the factory is 30, maximum 40 days. During this time, the engineer must develop, the production must manufacture and test to ensure that everything works.
Representatives of the company added that Kupol employees have the opportunity to bring inventions to life and develop new product areas.
As a reminder, Kupol is the main manufacturer of Russian Tor family anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM). The main production facilities of the plant specialize in the production of high-precision air defense products and military radio-electronic equipment.
The day before, on the last day of Dubai Airshow 2025, Kupol showcased the export version of the Tor-E2 SAM system for the first time, with a range of engagement of aerial targets up to 15 km.
