Tests of the Il-114-300 aircraft are proceeding strictly according to schedule, according to Daniil Brenerman, Managing Director of PJSC "Il", on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025 international aerospace exhibition.
In 2026, work will continue to expand the expected operating conditions. First of all, these are tests for the minimum basing temperature, which are scheduled for January. The tests will be carried out in Yakutsk, during the coldest time of the year. The aircraft will also be tested in high latitudes, in conditions of natural icing, and high altitudes.
According to him, all necessary checks will be completed before the start of deliveries of the aircraft to the operator, scheduled from August 2026.
The main tests of the aircraft will be completed by the end of 2025, and in 2026 work will continue to expand the expected operating conditions.
Brenerman noted that the Il-114-300 is not inferior to foreign counterparts in terms of flight performance, fuel and economic efficiency.
The aircraft has been completed, all tests carried out confirm the calculated characteristics.
It is also reported that the AV-112-114 propeller has been created for the Il-114-300 aircraft. It has successfully passed the test for compliance with airworthiness requirements and received a type certificate.
