Interest in the Russian fifth-generation single-engine fighter Su-75 Checkmate remains in the countries of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. This was announced by Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport.

According to him, the Russian Federation plans to build Su-75 Checkmate jointly with Belarus.

Rosoboronexport is currently working on the issue of joint production of the fifth-generation Su-75 Checkmate fighter with Belarusian partners. Interest in this aircraft remains in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.

The head of the flight service of the Sukhoi company, Hero of Russia Sergei Bogdan, reported that the first flight of the Su-75 Checkmate will take place in early 2026.

In this regard, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that the head of state's schedule does not yet include events related to testing a promising combat aircraft.
