The latest Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter has received artificial intelligence technologies. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
The combat aircraft was shown at the Russian exposition as part of the Dubai Airshow 2025 exhibition.
Artificial intelligence is already an integral part for quick decision-making by the pilot, especially when he works in a group. It is impossible for one person to simultaneously make decisions, control both the aircraft and directly the means of destruction. Therefore, AI actively participates in the work together with the pilot.
Manturov added that the Su-57 is one of the best combat aircraft in the world and has already proven itself in real combat conditions.
Military expert Evgeny Mikhailov in a commentary to «Первому техническому» explained that the transfer of the license to India for the production of the Su-57 abroad testifies to the high confidence in domestic weapons.
