The amount of subsidies for the domestic aviation industry already exceeds 30 billion rubles. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
According to him, in addition to airlines, support is being provided to airports that remain closed at the moment. Savelyev reminded that the state provides for subsidizing the aviation industry as a whole.
We have provided 25 billion rubles in subsidies to support airlines specifically. We support those airports that are still closed for use – that's another 6 billion. 31 billion rubles are planned this year for our transportation to be more accessible to our citizens.
Savelyev noted that the Russian Federation is actively updating the fleet of domestic aircraft. In particular, this concerns import-substituted Sukhoi Superjet 100 and MC-21-310.
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported that at least 75 airfields will be built and reconstructed in Russia by 2030. The development of the core airfield network is part of the national project "Effective Transport System".
Earlier, www1.ru reported that experimental work has not even begun for the PD-26 ghost aircraft engine.
