A Ka-226 helicopter crashed into a non-residential building in the urban-type settlement of Achchi-Su, Karabudakhkentsky district of Dagestan, killing 4 people and injuring three others. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan.
The helicopter belongs to the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant (JSC "Concern KEMZ"). It was flying from Kizlyar to the "Solnechny Bereg" recreation center in the Karabudakhkentsky district.
3 people were taken to the Central City Hospital of Izberbash, 1 person is in serious condition. The condition of 2 people is assessed as moderate.

According to TASS, citing operational services, the cause of the Ka-226 crash could be a technical malfunction. Rosaviatsia classified the emergency as a disaster.
