Scammers have started using a non-existent product delivery service called Yandex Delivery (derived from Yandex Go and Delivery Club) to steal Russians' banking details, according to analysts at Angara Security.
Russians are receiving messages on behalf of a non-existent Yandex Delivery service. They are offered a payment for goods already handed over to the courier and paid for by the buyer.
The attackers send a link in an SMS message to the potential victim's phone, which leads to a phishing site. The scammers also call the user and "process" them over the phone, convincing them to enter their bank details on the page.
Angara Security reminded that you should not open suspicious links. It is better to find the delivery site in the browser and check its domain name against the company's official address on the Internet.
