Sales of the new KamAZ-65954 heavy truck have started in Russia — a powerful all-wheel drive tractor designed to work in the most severe conditions. The vehicle is capable of towing a road train with a gross weight of up to 100 tons and is designed for transporting construction and industrial equipment.
Production of the KamAZ-65954 began in the spring of 2025 in Naberezhnye Chelny, and since September the new product has been delivered to dealers throughout the country. The cost of the basic version is 10.57 million rubles.
The tractor received a 6×6 wheel arrangement, differential locks, a tire inflation system and increased ground clearance. Massive metal bumpers and a reinforced frame make the car ready for operation in extreme off-road conditions — from the north of Russia to quarries and construction sites.
Under the hood is a six-cylinder in-line 13-liter turbo diesel with a capacity of 482 hp, working in tandem with a 16-speed manual gearbox. The design allows the installation of more powerful engines if necessary.
Despite its utilitarian nature, KamAZ equipped the model with modern equipment: the cab has air conditioning, cruise control, a media system, an autonomous heater, a pre-heater, a refrigerator and a seat with pneumatic suspension and heating.
