The "Azimuth" production company, part of Rostec, has installed a special radio beacon in one of the villages of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which will improve the safety of aircraft landing approaches. The device is designed to determine the course angle of the aircraft and receive voice messages via the "ground-to-air" channel.
The "Azimuth" company develops, mass-produces, and supplies turnkey communication, navigation, landing, and surveillance equipment for civil aviation. In addition, the company implements projects for equipping and re-equipping airfields and air traffic control centers.
"Azimuth" solutions have already been implemented in airports in Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Abkhazia. The equipment is successfully operated in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Anapa, Orsk, Orenburg, Stavropol, and other cities in the country.
