With an updated engine and onboard equipment: the improved TВС-2МS " кукурузник " took its first flight

The maximum speed of the aircraft has increased to 250 km/h

The TВС-2МS aircraft of Khabarovsk Airlines has made its first flight. The aircraft was chartered from the Tomsk airline "СибАэроКрафт" for passenger and cargo transportation between Nikolaevsk-on-Amur and Chumikan.

ТВС-2МS — a modernized version of the legendary An-2. The aircraft is manufactured by the company "Русавиапром".

Unlike its predecessor, ТВС-2МS is equipped with a new Honeywell turboprop engine and completely updated onboard equipment.

The aircraft has retained the unpretentiousness of the " кукурузник " to the ground airfield infrastructure. Thanks to the modern engine, the maximum speed of ТВС-2МS has increased to 250 km/h, and the flight range is 1200 km. The level of comfort for passengers has also been increased by reducing noise and vibration in the cabin.

ТВС-2МS uses aviation kerosene instead of expensive aviation gasoline. This makes the operation of the aircraft more economical.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the first ТВС-2МS aircraft was delivered to Bashkiria to modernize the fleet of small aircraft.
