Russia and Vietnam are discussing the possibility of creating a railway connection. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.
The idea of establishing railway communication with Vietnam through China and through Mongolia is being implemented. All this works to improve the connectivity of our two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that work is simultaneously underway to improve logistics and connections between the ports of the Russian Far East and Vietnam. This will speed up trade and strengthen economic ties.
Equally important remains cooperation in the energy sector, which continues to be a priority for both countries.
