High-precision 9M333 anti-aircraft missile from Kalashnikov pierces Furia

The concern will increase the production of missile and artillery weapons by 60% more than in 2024

The crew of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) managed to destroy a Furia reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with an accurate launch of a 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missile (SAM). This was reported by the Kalashnikov concern (part of the Rostec State Corporation).

Kalashnikov reminded that the 9M333 SAM is mass-produced. The missiles are designed to engage low-flying aircraft and helicopters in conditions of optical interference, as well as cruise missiles.

The ammunition operates on the principle of "fire-and-forget" and performs excellently in combat conditions.

This year, Kalashnikov will produce 60% more missile and artillery weapons than in 2024.

In flight, the average speed of the 9M333 missile is about 550 m/sec, and it is capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 5,000 meters.
