Yars Missiles, Sineva Missiles, and Doomsday Bombers Tu-95MS Take to the Skies: Russia Conducts Large-Scale Training Exercise

Submarines and strategic aviation participated in the maneuvers

Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Russia conducted a training exercise of strategic nuclear forces with the involvement of their ground, sea, and air components. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

During the training, the military carried out practical launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles and air-launched cruise missiles.

An intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome towards the "Kura" training ground in Kamchatka.

A ballistic missile "Sineva" was launched from the Barents Sea from the nuclear-powered missile submarine strategic purpose "Bryansk".

Long-range aviation aircraft Tu-95MS, performing launches of air-launched cruise missiles, were involved in the training. Practical launches were managed from the National Defense Management Center. The Kremlin noted that all training tasks were completed successfully.
