The low-floor single-section 71-415M tram, developed at the Uraltransmash plant, has successfully passed certification and started passenger testing in Yekaterinburg. Upon completion of operational tests, the model will be ready for mass production.
The 71-415M tram car is a modernized version of the 71-415 model, capable of accommodating up to 165 passengers, according to Dmitry Bunkov, chief designer of civil products at the Uraltransmash plant.
It uses a new generation поворотная тележка, like the "Dostoevsky" and "Dovlatov" trams, which have been successfully operating in St. Petersburg for over two years. The car fully complies with the "Accessible Environment" program. We hope that the residents of our native Yekaterinburg will also appreciate our tram.
The tram car pays great attention to creating a comfortable emotional atmosphere. The cabin features a lighting system that can be adjusted depending on the time of day.
