Pobeda Airlines will be able to receive new medium-range MC-21 aircraft only closer to the end of the current decade. This was announced by Oleg Panteleev, Executive Director of the AviaPort analytical agency.
According to him, with the start of deliveries of the MC-21, Russian airlines will replace foreign Boeings with new vessels, which may be transferred to Pobeda. And only after the operation of the MC-21 is fully debugged, they will also be able to appear at Pobeda.
Of course, the liner is attractive to Pobeda. One can only say with certainty that this prospect is closer to the end of the current decade.
The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, promised that a fully import-substituted MC-21 aircraft is planned to be lifted into the sky in October 2025. At the same time, the head of Rosaviation, Dmitry Yadrov, noted that five foreign-made systems have not yet been replaced on the MC-21 . It is not known exactly how the problem will be solved by the end of the month.
