Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, part of the Kalashnikov concern, has released a limited series of MR-53M pneumatic pistols with different colored grips. The most popular model for shooting training is now available in three options: "desert", "olive", and "terracotta".
IMZ previously produced the MR-53M pistol with a "terracotta" grip, and in 2025 we decided not only to return to colored parts, but also to expand the color palette to increase the attractiveness of the product to users. After receiving feedback from the market, we are ready to move to mass production of this model of pneumatic weapon.
The pistol grips are made of colorless polyamide, to which dyes are added. The batch contains about 40 items.
МР-53М is the most popular pneumatic pistol in Russia with a spring-piston design for training and recreational shooting. Its popularity is due to its simplicity and reliability in operation, as well as safety of use.
The device is equipped with a smooth-running trigger mechanism, a sight with micrometric adjustment in the vertical and horizontal planes, as well as a comfortable plastic grip that ensures comfortable use for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The product has a muzzle energy of no more than 3 J, which makes the MR-53M pistol accessible to a wide range of people. Lead bullets of 4.5 mm caliber are used for shooting, the initial velocity of the bullet is 109 m/s.
