A radio-technical measurement facility will be built on the territory of the Kazan Aviation Plant

PJSC Tupolev (part of Rostec) will allocate 1.5 billion rubles for the construction of a new radio-technical measurement facility. The facility will appear on the territory of the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant.

The new project is included in the framework of state programs for the development of the defense industry and armaments for 2018–2027.

The planned facility will include a radio-technical measurement facility, a block-modular boiler room, and other structures.

The radio-technical facility is a one-story production building with two-story extensions, which will house industrial equipment on a monolithic reinforced concrete foundation. Plans also include the construction of a block-modular boiler room.

In the summer of 2025, Tupolev lost a lawsuit to Tatneft due to the supply of Tu-214 aircraft. The company warned of the risk of bankruptcy. The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan partially satisfied the claim for more than 6 billion rubles including penalties.

PJSC Tupolev is a manufacturer of strategic missile-carrying bombers Tu-160M, Tu-22M3 and Tu-95MS.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the new North Korean Hwasong-11Ma system suspiciously resembles the Iskander-M.
