The Russian airline fleet may lose 339 aircraft and 200 helicopters by the end of 2030. This was announced at a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy by the head of Rosaviatsiya, Dmitry Yadrov.
According to him, as of October 6, the domestic fleet of 76 airlines operating 99% of flights consists of 1,135 aircraft.
Of these, 1,088 aircraft are "on the wing", and 47 aircraft are not in operation.
According to pessimistic forecasts, by 2030, together with airlines, we expect the retirement of about 339 aircraft. This includes 230 domestic aircraft, including those that are 40, 50, 60 years old, and 109 foreign aircraft.
In addition, the agency plans to decommission 200 helicopters - 190 domestic and 10 foreign, Yadrov concluded.
The head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Vadim Badeha, noted that the main task of the aircraft industry at present is to produce competitive aircraft.
