AvtoVAZ is ready to provide Russian taxi fleets with new Lada cars. To do this, the auto giant is ready to increase car production by 100-200 thousand per year.
In light of the publication of the list of cars that can be used in taxis from March 1, 2026, AvtoVAZ confirms the company's production, commercial and service capabilities related to a potential increase in purchases of Lada cars.
From the summer of 2025, taxi companies can take advantage of large wholesale discounts in the Lada network. Direct communication channels are available to them for consultation, service and warranty.
In 2024, Lada's share in the taxi sector amounted to 18.68%, which is equivalent to about 150 thousand cars in taxi fleets. This is a third more than in 2023.
Earlierwww1.ruwrote that owning a new Lada car is 30% cheaper in the first three years compared to foreign counterparts. So, AvtoVAZ claims, emphasizing that a revision of car prices is not planned.
