A powerful flare occurred on the Sun on September 24. This was reported by the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").
On September 24, at 12:31 Moscow time, an M1.0 flare lasting 47 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in group of spots 4224 (S12W44).
For several days, there has been a slightly increased flare activity with moderate risks for the Earth.
On September 23, a flare of the penultimate power class also occurred on the Sun. It lasted 26 minutes.
