The frigate "Admiral Golovko" of the Northern Fleet hit a cruise missile target heading towards the ship in the Barents Sea. The anti-aircraft missile firings were carried out by the ship's crew as part of planned combat training activities.

The training on the use of air defense systems also involved calculations of the navigation and radio-technical combat units. The speed, correctness and coordination of the actions of the combat crews of the "Poliment-Redut" anti-aircraft missile system and the combat information center were checked.
The RM-24 cruise missile target within the framework of this exercise was launched by the calculation of the coastal missile system "Bal" from the positional area on the Rybachy Peninsula.
The frigate "Admiral Golovko" is a modern multi-purpose ship, a carrier of high-precision long-range missile weapons, designed to solve tasks in the far sea and ocean zones. The frigate "Admiral Golovko" was accepted into the Navy in 2023.
