NPP "Zvezda" Asks Court to Recover Debts from AAC "Progress" for the Supply of Combat Systems

The Moscow-based Research and Production Enterprise (NPP) "Zvezda" has filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Primorsky Territory, demanding that the Arsenyev Aviation Company (AAC) "Progress" settle its debts for the production of systems for Ka-52M "Alligator" helicopters.

"Progress" owes "Zvezda" 111 million rubles, including 93 million rubles of debt and the remainder as penalties.

Out of the total contract value of 604 million rubles, "Zvezda" received only 283 million rubles as an advance without additional proceedings.

Part of the money was transferred to the enterprise after a claim was sent, and "Progress" also made a large payment after the enterprise filed a lawsuit.

During the proceedings, the aircraft factory explained that it did not object to settling with "Zvezda", but the enterprise itself had not yet received money from the Ministry of Defense for the production of a batch of modernized "Alligator" helicopters. However, the court ruled that "Progress" must settle the debt regardless of when the aircraft factory receives funds from the Ministry of Defense.

Specifically for the "Alligators", "Zvezda" developed the K-37–800M ejection-shock-absorbing seat.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the frigate "Admiral Golovko" launched a hypersonic "Zircon" in the Barents Sea, guided by a Tu-142.
