During the Zapad-2025 exercises, Russian Su-30SM two-seat fighters used bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) for the first time.
The crews of the naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet successfully used Kh-31A anti-ship missiles and gliding bombs. According to reports, naval targets were hit. Su-30SM fighters and Su-24M bombers were involved in the exercise.
UMPC turns free-fall bombs into high-precision ammunition. After being dropped, the UMPC wings open, and the munition flies to the target based on data from navigation systems. Various aerial bombs are equipped with planning modules, including FAB-1500 high-explosive bombs, which carry 670 kilograms of explosives. In the war zone, the main carrier of bombs with UMPC has become the Su-34 front-line bomber.
Earlier www1 reported that delays in the development of the next generation aircraft PAK DA have increased the likelihood of additional re-preservation of Tu-22M3 strategists.
