The Kirov Mayak plant (part of the Kalashnikov concern) will increase productivity in the electroplating shop. Workers are currently laying acid-resistant tiles, and new equipment will be installed here later. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The shop is about 80% ready. We have to launch an important facility for the company on time, which will improve the quality of product processing and increase output.
Almost all technological equipment has been delivered to the enterprise. After installation, the electroplating lines will undergo commissioning, acceptance and testing.
Currently, the Mayak electroplating shop performs more than 20 types of coatings, including palladium coating. In the future, this part of the enterprise will be decommissioned, and a new production building will be built on its site.
The Kirov Mayak plant serially produces civilian and military products, including a launcher for the Konkurs-M and Fagot ATGMs. These systems have already proven their effectiveness in real combat operations.
