The company's employees conducted a comprehensive survey of the icebreaker, including diagnostics of the underwater part of the hull. The Baltic workers updated the anti-corrosion coating and checked the condition of the steering gear, propeller shafts, general ship systems and mechanisms.

After maintenance, the icebreaker "Arktika" departed from the shipyard's pier and headed to its home port of Murmansk.

The lead vessel of Project 22220 was built in St. Petersburg. In October 2020, it was transferred to FSUE Atomflot. The series also includes the icebreakers "Sibir", "Ural" and "Yakutia". The "Chukotka" and "Leningrad" are currently under construction at the Baltic Shipyard.
