A Western satellite photographed a Russian MiG-31K supersonic interceptor fighter before a Kinzhal hypersonic missile was suspended on it. The footage appeared online.
The missile has already been delivered to the aircraft on a transport trolley. It was towed by an airfield truck — a Ural.
The satellite image made it possible to estimate the size of the Kinzhal - its length is not much smaller than the truck that towed it, that is, about five to six meters. The location of the shooting is not disclosed.
The Kinzhal is based on the 9M723 Iskander-M aeroballistic missile, which carries various types of warheads and is capable of operating at any initial speed and at any altitude of the carrier.
Earlier www1.ru reported that footage of an amazing T-72B3M tank with dreadlocks and a KMT-7 mine trawl appeared: an example of Russian ingenuity.
