Location of Kinzhal missile suspension on MiG-31K fighters shown in photo

The missile was towed to the aircraft by a Ural airfield truck

A Western satellite photographed a Russian MiG-31K supersonic interceptor fighter before a Kinzhal hypersonic missile was suspended on it. The footage appeared on the Web.

The missile has already been delivered to the aircraft on a transport trolley. It was towed by an airfield truck — Ural.

The satellite image made it possible to estimate the size of the Kinzhal - its length is not much smaller than the truck that dragged it, that is, about five to six meters. The shooting location is not disclosed.

The Kinzhal is based on the 9M723 Iskander-M aeroballistic missile, which carries various types of warheads and is capable of operating at any initial speed and at any altitude of the carrier.

Earlier www1.ru reported that footage of an amazing T-72B3M tank with dreads and a KMT-7 mine trawl has appeared: an example of Russian ingenuity.
