The Russian computing market is showing growth. Equipment production volumes in the country increased by 19% last year, with domestic solutions accounting for a third of business purchases. This was stated in an interview with journalists by Dmitry Kharitonov, First Deputy General Director of the T1 IT holding.
Further market dynamics are constrained by a number of difficulties, including a shortage of domestic component base, microcontroller components, resistors, and microprocessors. Currently, this issue is often resolved through components from friendly countries.
According to him, businesses are moving from point solutions to complex projects, which requires scalable architecture and platform solutions. An important aspect is the use of data for decision-making. This increases the level of technological maturity of companies.
The businessman emphasized that Cyber resilience also remains in focus, especially against the backdrop of growing cyberattacks. He noted that companies should strengthen their technological independence and implement safe development principles.
In conclusion, the First Deputy General Director of the T1 IT holding pointed out the need to integrate new solutions with existing systems. According to him, this is a significant challenge for business. With the help of platform solutions oriented towards specific industries, companies can successfully cope with these tasks and increase their efficiency.
