According to her, the Kursk NPP is one of the key projects and is in a high degree of readiness.
Four milestones have already been reached, and by the end of this year we expect to receive permission to put power unit one into pilot operation.
At the same time, the construction of the nuclear facility is planned to be completed in 2027. In the same year, Rosatom may receive permission to put power unit No. 2 into pilot operation.
The NPP is being built in the city of Kurchatov. The total installed capacity of the two NPP units under construction will be approximately 2,510 MW. Each of the power units will operate for at least 60 years.
