UEC Showed a 3D-Printed Part for the Powerful Gas Turbine Engine GTD-110M

The turbine swirler is made of nickel alloy

The United Engine Corporation (UEC) presented about serial and experimental parts of gas turbine engines created using 3D printing at the Technoprom international forum in Novosibirsk. Among them was a high-power turbine swirler for the GTD-110M.

This combustion chamber part has a complex geometry, including developed internal surfaces and channels, and is made of nickel alloys using 3D printing.
