AvtoVAZ Vice President for External Relations and Shareholder Interaction, Sergey Gromak, stated that the slight reduction in the Bank of Russia's key rate has not yet impacted the automotive market and does not allow the company to make objective forecasts.
According to Gromak, the current market situation remains volatile and changes rapidly. He noted that analysts provide conflicting assessments, making it premature to draw any conclusions. The automaker's representative emphasized that a longer observation period is necessary to stabilize the situation.
Now a slight decrease has passed. So far, this has not affected the market - we need to look at a longer-term perspective. Let me put it this way - analysts say different things [...] Therefore, it is too early to draw conclusions. The situation is too volatile, it is difficult to make predictions now.
Gromak also outlined a key condition for meeting market needs. In his opinion, the market will be fully supplied if consumers have access to car loans and businesses have access to leasing.
Currently, AvtoVAZ is discussing the plan and budget for the next year. However, as the vice president stated, it is irresponsible to announce preliminary figures now, as the company is generating significant demand for related industries, including metallurgy and radio electronics. The final figures will be formed later.
