Rosaviatsiya has revoked the certificate of the aviation training center (ATC) of Angara Airlines after the An-24 crash near Tynda. This was reported by the agency.
The decision was made following an unscheduled inspection of the carrier for compliance with the requirements of federal aviation regulations governing the activities of organizations engaged in the training of aviation personnel.
Angara's ATC trained flight mechanics and specialists in the maintenance of Mi-8 helicopters and An-24/26 aircraft. The inspection was carried out by the East Siberian MTU of Rosaviatsiya and revealed violations of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR-289) in the training of aviation specialists.
On July 30, Rosaviatsiya also revoked the airline's certificate for the maintenance of aircraft. In response, Angara stated that it would continue to operate flights, but would be forced to cancel some flights, and some flights may be delayed.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rosaviatsiya deprived Vityaz-Aero Airlines of the right to fly after the crash of its helicopter.
