Серийное производство ведущих мостов для экскаваторов-погрузчиков производства ЕлАЗ стартует в Чебоксарах

The products are adapted to Russian production technologies and have become unique developments for Russia

The Cheboksary Power Aggregate Plant (ChZSA) will begin producing drive axles for ELAZ backhoe loaders manufactured by the Yelabuga Automobile Plant (ELAZ). A pilot batch will be produced in early 2026.

Russian-made axles for ELAZ backhoe loaders

The design documentation for four axle modifications was developed by the engineering company "Apriornye Resheniya Mashin" (ARM), a resident of "Skolkovo". The products are adapted to Russian production technologies and are not copies of imported analogues; they also take into account specific operating conditions.

Throughout the year, within the framework of the project, systematic tripartite work was carried out between the customer (JSC "PO ELAZ"), the engineering company LLC "ARM", and the production enterprise LLC "ChZSA", the result of which was the successful completion of the tasks outlined in last year's agreement. The designs of the drive axles, as the main components for the road construction equipment of the Yelabuga Automobile Plant, were initially adapted by the developers to the production technologies available to domestic enterprises for the serial production of products.

The cooperation agreement between ChZSA and ELAZ was signed in 2024 at the International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg. The contract volume amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. The project is designed for five years (2026–2030) and provides for the supply of more than 4,300 axles.

This project is a telling example of how Russian enterprises, by combining competencies, can create modern and competitive production solutions, completely eliminating dependence on imported components. We are determined to bring the project to series and thereby provide Russian manufacturers of special equipment with high-tech and reliable components.

By the end of the year, ChZSA will prepare production facilities for the release of a pilot batch. After testing and debugging logistics, serial production will begin.
