Vladmorrybport Plans to Increase Container Handling Capacity to 700,000 TEU by 2027

Capacity expansion is part of an investment program that includes the purchase of new equipment, modernization of railway infrastructure, and the introduction of digital technologies

Vladmorrybport intends to increase its annual container handling capacity to 700,000 TEU by 2027. This growth will be possible thanks to the commissioning of two new container площадок and a "dry" terminal in 2025, with a total capacity of about 5,000 TEU.

According to Vyacheslav Kvashnin, Deputy General Director for Commercial Operations, the capacity expansion is part of an investment program that includes the purchase of new equipment, modernization of railway infrastructure, and the introduction of digital technologies. In 2023, the port already commissioned a площадка with an area of 18,000 sq. m, which allowed increasing handling by 225,000 TEU in 2024.

The increase in capacity is also aimed at improving service: speeding up vessel processing and optimizing logistics. Digital solutions have been implemented for clients, including a mobile application with routes for drivers and an online system for coordinating dangerous goods.

Vladmorrybport is one of the key ports in the Far East, specializing in the handling of fish products and container cargo.
