The Moscow Arbitration Court has recovered approximately 34.5 billion rubles from the Finnish shipyard Arctech Helsinki Shipyard in a lawsuit filed by the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
The claim for debt recovery under loan agreements was registered in court in February 2024. According to the plaintiff's representative, the parties entered into two guarantee agreements with the defendant and five loan agreements, with the last payment from the borrower received in 2022.
The plaintiff clarified that in cooperation with Russian enterprises, the defendant built marine vessels, including in St. Petersburg, under USC orders.
The parties agreed to consider disputes arising from loan agreements in the Moscow Arbitration Court. The defendant did not send a representative to the meeting.
