Omut EW System Extends UAV Engagement Zone to 400 Meters After Upgrade

The systems received new antennas with improved characteristics

Modernized Omut electronic warfare (EW) systems are capable of creating an invisible dome of protection against drones with a diameter of up to 400 meters, depending on the terrain, the People's Front reported.

According to the developer, new antennas were selected for the updated systems, with performance indicators 20% better.

A circular radiation pattern is also provided, allowing reliable suppression of UAV communication and control channels. Another 50 sets will be delivered to the military in the near future.

The developers are also working to improve ease of use and expand frequency ranges, preparing to release a smaller but equally powerful version of the system.

The Omut EW stations are designed to protect military equipment, light and cargo vehicles from UAV attacks by suppressing communication and control channels.
