The first flight of the fully import-substituted Russian MC-21 aircraft is expected in August, according to the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.

In August, the fully import-substituted aircraft will take off - today it flies partially import-substituted.

The Yakovlev company (part of Rostec) is developing the MC-21-310 version of the aircraft. The aircraft will be able to carry up to 211 passengers at a distance of up to 5100 km, commercial load - up to 21.3 tons.

Serial production of the MC-21, Chemezov noted, is scheduled for 2026.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of delivery of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
