AvtoVAZ plans to start production of its first crossover, Lada Azimut, in 2026. Although the start date for Lada Iskra sales is still unclear, you can already see the Lada Azimut: the car is on public display in Togliatti, near the main building of the "Zhigulevskaya Dolina" technopark.
The presented car stands out with its black headliner and extensive panoramic roof. The car's interior is made in a striking black and red color scheme. The seats with perforated leather, a completely new Lada steering wheel of original shape with innovative switches, and a modern front panel with two integrated screens attract attention. The start of sales of Lada Azimut is scheduled for 2026. Under the hood, the car will be powered by upgraded VAZ engines with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters, with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, respectively. In the future, a modification with a 150-horsepower engine and a classic automatic transmission is expected.
