Ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy (PLAN) conducted artillery firings in the Sea of Japan during the "Maritime Interaction" exercises, which took place from August 1 to 5, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported.

ASW ship "Admiral Tributs"

The large anti-submarine ship (ASW) "Admiral Tributs" (Project 1155) and the corvette "Gromkiy", together with the Chinese destroyers "Shaoxing" and "Urumqi", practiced conducting an artillery battle with ships of a mock enemy.

The firing was carried out at a group target. Russian and Chinese crews also searched for an "enemy" submarine. The sailors practiced organizing joint defense against attacks by unmanned boats and UAVs.
