Нашли крайних: Запад обвинили в задержках серийного производства МС-21

Aviation expert Gusarov said that "Western partners" sought to hinder the project's development

Delays in the production of the MC-21 aircraft are due to the "subversive activities of Western partners" seeking to hinder the project's development, said aviation expert Roman Gusarov.

According to him, the probability of launching the MC-21 into serial production in 2026 can now be considered very high, because the aircraft is already ready to start testing.

Gusarov explained that in all previous instances, the start of serial production was shifted to the right for objective reasons. For example, in 2018, sanctions were imposed against the "Aerocomposit" enterprise, and in total, production was postponed three times.

But, first of all, due to the fact that, as we used to call them, the "Western partners" were engaged in subversive activities. In order to prevent us from bringing these aircraft into order. And now they no longer have the leverage to stop the creation process.

The head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, stated that the MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft will be released into serial production in 2026. According to Chemezov, enterprises have imported more than 70% of systems in the MC-21 project.
